During the study period, 2,247 cases were reported by 1,369 patients. Among these patients, 987 belonged to the health insurance group (72.1%) and 382 belonged to the medical aid group (27.9%). In health insurance group, ADRs were most prevaꠓlent in women (57.8%) while men (52.9%) were more susceptible in the medical aid group. In the health insurance group, although the frequency of ADRs was higher in those living with a partner (74.1%) those who were single had a higher risk of developing severe ADRs (adjusted odds ratio (aOR): 1.20, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.48-3.01). Similar results were also observed in the medical aid group (aOR: 1.56, 95% CI: 0.48-5.01). In terms of severity, the incidence of severe reactions was higher in the medical aid group (3.1%) compared to the health insurance group (1.9%). Women with health insurance and men with medical aid were more likely to be reported severe ADRs. |
