International Travel Clinic

Introduction
Our International Travel Clinic can help you protect your health before, during and after foreign travel. We advise current required and recommended immunizations based on your itinerary, immunization history, and planned activities during your trip. Since many immunizations must be given in advance of travel, we recommend scheduling your travel clinic visit at least 8 weeks before your departure.
Malaria Preventrion
Malaria is a serious and sometimes fatal disease caused by a parasite that commonly infects a certain type of mosquito which feeds on humans. People who get malaria are typically very sick with high fevers, shaking chills, and flu-like illness. For malaria prevention, it is mandatory that you use anti-malarial medications if you are traveling to an area where you might be exposed to malaria-carrying mosquitoes.
Yellow Fever Vaccination
Some countries in Sub-Sahara Africa and South America require an Official International Certificate of Vaccination for proof of Yellow Fever. Failure to comply can sometimes result in denial to enter a specific country. The Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is usually valid since 10 days after vaccination. You have to carry passport or copy of passport to issue the certificate and you may pay yellow fever vaccine fee (not consultation fee) by on-line (http://www.e-revenuestamp.or.kr/) instead of purchasing stamps at commercial bank in our hospital.
